The East Coast F-Body Nationals is an event hosted by the New Jersey F-Body Owners Association to celebrate our club’s birthday each year. Going into the planning of the fourth edition of the East Coast Nats, we invite everyone to spend a weekend with us racing, showing, and enjoying the cars and people that bring us together as enthusiasts.

The annual tradition of kicking off the East Coast Nats weekend with the traditional Pony Car war continues. A simple format that is more about having fun than anything else brings us together to celebrate the best that GM and F*rd have to offer.

Saturday Charity Car Show: August 9th @ TBA
This is a new feature for the 2008 East Coast F-Body Nationals. We are looking to fill in the gap between the traditional Friday Night Fights and the East Coast Nats on Sunday. The obvious choice is to get together for some fun and comradery to benefit charity.
Details about location, times, and the benefit charity will be announced as details are worked out.

2008 East Coast F-Body Nationals: August 10th @ Island Dragway
The main event of the weekend!!!
The East Coast Nats is a celebration to bring together all owners, friends, and fans of GM’s F-Body platform. Sunday is the day that is all goes down. There are two foot brake style brackets and an open electronics style bracket class (http://www.njfboa.org/forums/showthread.php?t=30811), three heads up drag racing classes(http://www.njfboa.org/forums/showthread.php?t=30815), and a huge car show that brings out the best and some of the rarest F-Bodies ever built (http://www.njfboa.org/forums/showthread.php?t=30808).

With so many great people, so many great cars, goodie bags for the first 500 people through the gates on Sunday, tons of prizes, bunches of give aways, and a pile of trophies, there truly is something for everyone to enjoy.

We’re coming back with our arms flailing! We’ll be getting our new shipment of equipment in for a TOTALLY INSANE CRAZY NUTTY STUPENDOUS experience. We won’t let the cat out of the bag…ALL the way, however…two brand-spankin’ new condenser microphones, WAY better microphone mixer, a stupidly expensive Compressor/Limiter and Gate and some extra stuff! We’ll be crankin’ the quality up AGAIN up to 128kbps in STEREO.  It’s like your listening to a cd…a horribly corrupted, satanic x rated CD of pure testosterone and nonsense.  Now that should make you listen to our upcoming shows! We’ll be keeping you folks in the loop…stay tuned!  (While we hook all the crap up and strangle ourselves with the cables).
